PhD Illustrator

This project has been very exciting as well as challenging. The idea was to provide illustrations for a ground breaking Phd manuscript in science communication of which the majority would be called "windows". These windows would add a kind of knowledge that could not be achieved through words and broaden the scope of the manuscript. These windows are layered and leave metaphorical space for the reader to look into or enter. This offers the opportunity to reflect and contemplate about different issues concerning science communication and science in general. The idea is to create a deck of cards that can be used by science communicators as well as scientists who wish to reflect about challenges they face. One game that can be played with the deck are similar to those of Dixit. As a scientist and illustrator, it was an eye opener and a pleasure to unleash my creativity and critical thinking in this project.
